Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Sr. Specialist, Operations Project Manager in Salt Lake City, UT.

You will oversee all Operations aspects of contract execution, coordinating across Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Responsibilities include developing Integrated Master Schedules, lead-time analysis, cost risk mitigation, and reporting performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired.
• Demonstrated ability in business and/or technical writing, public speaking, and creating formal presentations is desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables is desired.
• Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface and communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Assist with the development of resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules, including tie-ins with Engineering efforts and milestones.
• Perform lead-time and critical path analysis on multi-level hardware builds.
• Assess cost and schedule risks, and develop associated mitigations.
• Monitor and report financial, schedule, and technical performance of assigned projects.
• Identify and coordinate resources necessary for quick reaction, development efforts.
• Work closely with Engineering to identify, mitigate, and execute long-lead material procurement.
• Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environments.
