The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the San Antonio Field Division seeks an expert advisor to the Special Agent in Charge on operations program and policy. The role focuses on evaluating program effectiveness, efficiency, and resources across the division to inform strategic decisions.

The position supports leadership with sensitive tasks, including annual performance evaluations and coordinating with Headquarters to fill critical vacancies, while influencing long-range policy

Aufgaben

Performing a wide variety of analysis and evaluation functions, such as cost-benefit analysis, return on investment analysis, program effectiveness and efficiency analysis, productivity or workload analysis, and performance analysis, among others.
Supporting leadership on sensitive, high-level tasks, such as annual performance evaluations, Division selections of senior Special Agents, and coordination with Headquarters to fill critical vacancies within the Division. Acting as a lead for justifying and coordinating resources in support of Division initiatives. Influencing policy changes that typically involve long-range, highly complex, and often politically sensitive topics.
