Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Strategic and Operational Planner to support defense missions. You will act as the primary planner for EOD operations, monitoring the environment and delivering timely intelligence to leadership.

You will develop plans and orders, apply MDMP, and ensure data accuracy across information systems. The role requires leadership in joint operations, MDMP proficiency, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Planning.
• Experience serving on staff in an Army Division Headquarters or above.
• Experience as an operational or strategic planner.
• Knowledge of EOD and EH mitigation operations, plans, and policies.
• TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary planner for EOD current operations, monitoring and analyzing the environment to provide real-time situational awareness to leadership.
• Develop, coordinate, and disseminate operational plans, orders (OPORDs) and fragmentary orders (FRAGOs) related to EOD missions and threat countermeasures.
• Apply mastery of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) to support crisis action planning and rapid development of COAs.
• Maintain understanding of ongoing EOD ops, force distribution, and asset availability within the area of responsibility (AOR).
• Brief senior leadership daily on status of current operations and provide recommendations and analysis.
