Job summary

The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks an experienced Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Operations (DAC) for the Federal Acquisition Service, OCAS, located in Washington, DC. The DAC serves as chief operations officer to the OCAS Assistant Commissioner, guiding strategy, performance, and service delivery across multiple centers.

Responsibilities include directing service center operations, overseeing budget and analytics, and steering enterprise-wide transformations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the operational service centers within OCAS to ensure performance and accountability.
• Provide executive-level direction for financial and performance analytics activities, including budget formulation and forecasting.
• Develop and implement portfolio management methods and long-range plans aligned with agency priorities.
• Lead enterprise-wide assessments to identify risks and drive process improvements for organizational agility.
