Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom in Lansdowne, VA seeks a Strategic Operations Director to partner with the EVP of Enterprise Strategy, driving execution, budgets, and process design in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You will own complex initiatives, conduct research and financial analysis, and deliver results that advance organizational priorities with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Public Policy, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in operations management, strategic planning, or related roles.
• Demonstrated success as a COO, Operations Director, or equivalent in a small-to-mid-size organization.
• Hands-on experience managing budgets, building processes, and delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of strategic projects from scoping through delivery, including planning and operational design.
• Develop analyses, frameworks, and recommendations on questions critical to the organization's mission.
• Prepare internal briefs, strategic plans, and business cases for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with the CEO's Office to align strategic work with priorities.
• Build financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to inform decisions.
