Job summary

The Agricultural Research Service in Peoria, IL seeks a qualified candidate to coordinate and facilitate the Area's Business Management portfolio, acting as the central point of contact for the Area research mission.

Responsibilities include evaluating internal procedures, assembling program data with leadership to improve ARMPs, leading teams to achieve agency goals, and providing technical support to develop and execute ARMPs while analyzing HR information for policy impact.

Qualifications

• Time-in-grade restrictions apply; specialized experience and/or education required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of internal operating procedures.
• Assembling program data and working with leadership to generate recommendations for improvement.
• Working with and leading groups through various team activities to accomplish agency mission and goals.
• Providing technical and analytical support to management to develop and execute the Annual Resource Management Plans (ARMPs).
• Analyzing Human Resources information to provide advice to management regarding the implementation impact of procedures, laws, regulations and policies.
