Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Strategy & Operations Analyst to shape how the organization invests and operates on a large federal security program in Sterling, VA.

You will partner with senior leaders to assess needs, policies, and performance, turning insights into actionable roadmaps and recommendations. The role blends strategic analysis with governance and process improvement, building intake, documentation, and reporting to keep initiatives organized and visible

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in program analysis or strategic planning.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience developing standard program documentation, such as requirements documents and templates.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: Analyze customer requirements, strategic plans, policies, and directives to identify capability gaps and priorities across multiple mission areas.
• Develop and maintain capability and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate program performance and technology adoption; connect roadmap priorities to budget and resource planning, including the PPBE cycle.
• Plan and facilitate strategy workshops; prepare agendas, pre-reads, analysis and follow-ups.
• Produce executive briefings, memos, and dashboards turning complex data into clear recommendations.
• Support proposal development and planning for new technology efforts.
• Maintain a standard intake process for new requests and requirements; capture, validate, and route to the right owner.
