Job summary

UC Irvine's Stern Center seeks a Clinical Research Finance Analyst to manage financial operations for a large oncology trials portfolio. You’ll collaborate with investigators, trial teams, and finance offices to ensure compliant post‑award administration and timely reporting.

The role requires budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and strong communication. Experience with CTMS (Oncore preferred) and UC Irvine systems is highly valued in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in clinical research or financial administration.
• Ability to present information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience with CTMS and oncology trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor budgets, expenditures and invoicing for oncology trials.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor regulations and institutional policies.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, forecasting and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with PIs, trial teams and institutional finance.
