Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks a Senior Nursing Project Manager to lead strategic nursing projects and programs, coordinating resources, timelines, and stakeholder needs to advance patient care.

You will develop plans, provide technical leadership, and ensure successful people, process and system changes, collaborating with nursing and system stakeholders to standardize processes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with BSN and 3 years' project/program management experience.
• Master's degree preferred with certifications such as CPN, PMP, CNML, or NE-BC.

Responsibilities

• Develops project plans, goals and objectives in collaboration with project and department leadership.
• Provides professional and/or technical leadership in the execution of day-to-day project activities.
• Communicates within and across departments to maximize information sharing around progress, needs, interdependencies and accomplishments.
• Assures successful implementation of people, process and systems changes to support professional nursing.
• Participates in institutional task forces and other special committees related to the achievement of goals and objectives.
