Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Nuclear Arms Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise on implementation of strategic arms control activities linked to the New START Treaty and related agreements. This role sits at the forefront of national security policy and arms control execution.

You will collaborate with DTRA leadership and interagency partners to analyze treaties, provide technical guidance, and shape programs that advance U.S. objectives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years supporting New START implementation through arms control interagency liaison.
• Strong analytic and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, define, and develop national security information on weapon expertise and its impact on safety.
• Work with DTRA leadership and interagency representatives in the arms control community.
• Analyse treaty impacts on national security objectives.
• Advise DTRA on program implementation related to treaties and agreements.
• Provide technical advice to the US government arms control community.
