Qualifications

• Experience in procurement of direct materials for new product introductions.
• Ability to manage supplier performance and coordinate supplier reviews.
• Strong cost management, negotiation and risk mitigation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages purchase orders and delivery requirements to designated suppliers to support NPI and/or sales requirements.
• Supports supplier performance management and coordination of supplier business reviews.
• Coordinates engineering change order activity with suppliers and other functional groups.
• Identify potential supplier capacity issues and work with sourcing and supplier engineering to resolve.
• Track purchase prices; support cost reduction opportunities and maintain cost models.
• Support administration of risk mitigation projects and data accuracy in SCRM tools.
• Assist in preparing supplier scorecards and participation in supplier reviews.
• Manage quoting activity with suppliers to support supply chain optimizations and market research for supplier identification.
