Job summary

ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization) seeks a Director of Development to design and execute a comprehensive fundraising program aligning with the organization's mission and long-term sustainability. This role oversees annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation partnerships, events, sponsorships, and donor stewardship.

Working with the executive team and the Board, the director develops integrated strategies, sets annual goals, and tracks KPIs to drive accountability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• CFRE Preferred
• Proven success securing six-figure gifts
• Experience with donor databases (Blackbaud preferred)
• Capital Campaign experience
• 5-7 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising, including events
• 3+ years leading a development team

Responsibilities

• Design, direct, and execute a comprehensive fundraising program
• Oversee all philanthropic revenue streams and donor stewardship
• Collaborate with executive leadership, Board of Directors, and stakeholders to implement fundraising strategies
• Establish annual fundraising goals, develop measurable objectives, and monitor KPIs
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with donors, prospects, and community partners
• Ensure ethical fundraising practices, donor confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
