Job summary

Green Lake Conference Center is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee financial integrity and stewardship across three entities. You will lead the Business & Finance Team, manage payroll, donations in Salesforce, and ensure compliance with nonprofit standards.

The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance with 3+ years in nonprofit accounting; CPA is a plus. Salary range reflects responsible leadership and complex fund management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in nonprofit settings.
• CPA or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of donor restrictions and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations across three entities; general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
• Lead the Business & Finance Team, ensuring performance, training, and cross-coverage.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate budgeting, audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Prepare financial materials and dashboards for Board and senior leadership.
