Job summary

Energy Foundation China is seeking a Controller to lead the US-based Grants Management and Finance function as EF China expands in the United States. Based in the EFUS San Francisco office, the Controller will work with the Director to ensure compliant, efficient financial operations and robust reporting across grants and grants management.

The candidate will bring eight years of accounting experience, nonprofit or foundation accounting know-how, and strong analytical and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years accounting experience.
• Experience as financial controller.
• Nonprofit or foundation accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with grants management or fundraising teams.
• Strong Excel and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of general ledger functions, accruals, fund classification, month-end and year-end close.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
