Nightwing in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain complex LAN/WAN networks supporting critical missions with a focus on performance and security.

The candidate should have 12+ years of network engineering experience, a related bachelor's degree (master's may substitute for two years), and the ability to guide junior engineers while coordinating with system engineering to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience (reducing total required experience).
• Additional 5 years experience may substitute for a Bachelor's.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, test, and maintain large-scale network solutions.
• Configure and manage network devices, VPNs, firewalls, and QoS.
• Coordinate with system engineering to minimize downtime.
• Gather requirements and ensure DoD/IC compliance in designs.
