Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex network architectures. You will analyze designs, configure equipment, and monitor performance to ensure optimal data throughput and mission continuity.

The role requires deep experience with LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and VoIP integration, supporting DoD/IC regulatory standards. Qualifications include 12+ years in network engineering, a relevant bachelor's degree, and preference for a master’s degree substituted

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree may be substituted for two years of experience, reducing total required experience to six years.

Responsibilities

• Design network systems and mission architecture.
• Configure, test, deploy, and maintain network equipment.
• Minimize latency and maximize data throughput via performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with system engineering and dataflow efforts to minimize downtime.
• Develop and integrate network solutions to support server requirements (VPNs, VoIP, IP Encryption).
• Manage schedules and direct junior engineers.
