Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Network Strategy Engineer to design and sustain the LAN, WAN, datacenter, and cloud networking fabric. You will own routers, firewalls, switches, cabling, and related hardware, delivering high availability and security for silicon‑fabrication workloads.

You will provide leadership to the operations team, develop capacity budgets, evaluate emerging technologies, and craft a forward‑looking technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure in complex environments.
• Certification or advanced expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, F5 / A10, and other networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect, plan, and maintain the semiconductor‑environment LAN, WAN, datacenter, and cloud infrastructures.
• Provide technical oversight to the operation team on design, development, and implementation of solutions.
• Develop multi‑year and annual capacity budgets for all platforms.
• Lead projects to expand, replace, or upgrade network infrastructure, hardware, and software.
• Define network requirements and craft a long‑term technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
