Job summary

The MITRE Corporation seeks an experienced project leader to guide multi-disciplinary teams supporting national security and acquisition programs. You will drive strategic analysis, coordinate with sponsors and senior officials, and shape long-term research and wargaming initiatives.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables, mentoring staff, and aligning MITRE capabilities with sponsor objectives in a dynamic, classified environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's, or 8 years with a Master’s, or PhD with 5 years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance required.
• ONA experience and net assessment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary MITRE interface to sponsors and maintain trusted government relationships.
• Oversee project execution: manage tasks, onboarding, staffing plans, budgets, and milestones.
• Contribute as a lead on high-impact deliverables and mentor staff.
• Ensure high-quality project outputs, peer reviews, and proper archival of key deliverables.
• Foster partnerships within MITRE and with external work programs and R&D.
