Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a Purchaser/Procurement Specialist to join our team in North Charleston, SC. The role focuses on managing, tracking and executing Navy C4ISR contract vehicles and related procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a GED and at least five years of cumulative experience, including Navy ILS, life cycle support of shipboard systems, and DoD/Navy purchasing.

U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

High School GED and minimum of 5 years cumulative experience.
Two years of Navy Integrated Logistics Support experience.
Two years of Life Cycle Support of a shipboard system.
Two years of DoD/Navy Purchasing/Procurement.
Proficiency with P-Card, MAC, SEWP, MILSTRIP and GSA contract vehicles.
Ability to finalize, review and accept best price quotes/proposals from vendors.

Responsibilities

Managing, tracking and executing various types of contract vehicles for Navy C4ISR programs.
Work with Government Contracting Specialists and IPT Leads to finalize quotes and issue purchase orders.
Review and edit modifications to contracts and purchase orders, including RFPs and related documents.
Use productivity tools to track and receive material contracts.
