Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a North America Supplier Planner to align supplier capabilities with business demand. The role is hybrid and can be tied to one of our locations, connecting with procurement, product management, sourcing, quality, and operations to ensure materials availability and optimized inventory.

You will forecast, plan, and analyze to identify risks and opportunities, drive improvements, and support customer commitments and growth across a global supply network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, planning, purchasing, or related discipline.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, including planning and materials management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions within a global supply network.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, customer focus, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and communicate material forecasts for key suppliers.
• Create constrained supplier and material plans to support S&OP processes.
• Analyze demand, capacity, and supply data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with suppliers to understand capacity constraints and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with product management, sourcing, quality, and planning teams to optimize supply performance.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining service and delivery expectations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to increase plan adherence.
• Support new product introductions, product transitions, and excess and obsolete inventory reduction projects.
