Job summary

Qualifications

• At least five years of related municipal finance experience with two years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; CMA designation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, investments, debt management, and internal controls.
• Develop long-range financial strategies and sound fiscal policies.
• Prepare and administer biennial budgets; manage grants and capital financing.
• Analyze utility rates and investments; ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Lead accounting, utility billing, municipal court administration, purchasing, risk management, insurance, and contract administration.
