Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Public Administration; advanced degree desirable.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Business, or a related field and/or CPA is preferred.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
• Prior budgeting experience in a municipality is required; Incode software experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee debt, treasury management, purchasing, financial planning, and revenue collections; ensure legal and regulatory compliance for accounting and financial reporting.
• Direct supervision of Finance Department staff and coordination with other city departments to maintain and improve service levels.
