Barnstable seeks an experienced professional to oversee administrative, technical, and supervisory tasks in processing and collecting town taxes and receivables. The role includes supervisory responsibilities within the Treasurer/Collector function and related reporting duties.

The ideal candidate will bring a degree in accounting or related field and extensive municipal financial experience, with proficiency in modern office software and a good grasp of relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; more than five years work experience preferably in a municipal financial setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with MUNIS financial management systems preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Administrative, technical, and supervisory work in processing and collection of all town taxes and billed receivables and related reports; all other duties as required.
