Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation in Indiana is seeking an MRP Controller to plan and coordinate production schedules, material requirements, inventory control, and shipping activities to meet customer demand efficiently. You will work closely with Production, Logistics, Customer Service and plant teams to support daily operations and maintain accurate system data.

The role requires developing finite production plans, managing SAP-based inventory, coordinating shipments, and leading cycle counts while

Qualifications

3+ years in inventory planning and control or production scheduling.
Strong problem solving and data accuracy with good communication.
Proficient in SAP; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
Detail oriented with ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans and finite schedules balancing capacity and quality.
Manage MRP, inventory, shipments and resources to meet customer requirements.
Coordinate with internal customer service on orders and production/shipping updates.
Direct shipping/receiving and prepare paperwork, including SAP transactions.
Oversee shipments including tanker logistics and liaison with third-party logistcs.
Lead physical inventory events and investigate discrepancies.
Document transactions in SAP and communicate with departments to minimize disruptions.
