Job summary

Hankook Tire is seeking an experienced MRO Purchasing Specialist to manage the PR/PO process for spare MRO parts and supplies, oversee inventory accuracy, and coordinate with the Corporate Management Team. The role requires leadership over procurement activities, strong vendor management, and adherence to safety and environmental programs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in purchasing or related field with several years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing and inventory control
• Business administration major or advanced degree preferred
• Several years of relevant experience
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Purchasing vendor management and purchasing process control
• Manage PR/PO process for spare (MRO) parts and budgeted supplies and consumables
• Reviews vendor quotes and bids for accuracy and competitive strategies
• Ensure consigned MRO inventories are verified and invoiced
• Direct operators and assigns tasks to ensure operation of MRO receiving and warehouse
• Issues purchase orders and adjust orders to meet actual needs
• Maintain MRO inventory system data and reporting
• Report on cycle count activity and results
• Provide reports of budgeted vs actual spending
• Support health, safety and environmental programs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
