Qualifications

• Technical or business background with specialty in purchasing
• 3 years in a purchasing department in an industrial & international environment
• Knowledge of local, regional and global markets
• Experience in indirect purchasing is a plus (maintenance, repair, industrial consumables and services)

Responsibilities

• Manages activities in line with governance rules and purchasing policy.
• Owns the plant supply base and annual vendor rating.
• Manages supplier risk with Finance department insights.
• Benchmarks MRO costs and purchasing conditions across plants to find savings opportunities.
• Leads supplier negotiations ensuring fair competition among at least 3 bidders.
• Manages RFQ flow and plant sourcing recommendations.
• Oversees ordering per law and OP policy after sourcing approval.
• Implements global contracts via local plant contracts and optimizes order-to-pay.
