Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Shelby Township, Michigan, is seeking a Purchasing professional to procure goods and services, manage daily purchasing tasks, and support the Purchasing Supervisor to ensure on-time delivery and best value.

You will maintain supplier relationships, create purchase orders in Kinetic, and assist with quotations via Ariba, while complying with QS-9000/ISO quality procedures and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years’ experience as a buyer or in a MRO role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• To execute procurement of goods and services required at Fori Automation within required timeframes and obtain the best value for money spent on these goods and services.
• Assists the Purchasing Supervisor in managing the daily office functions of the Purchasing Department.
• Responsible for prioritizing their daily activities to reflect the objectives set forth by management.
• Responsible for compliance with all established administrative and quality procedures as outlined by Fori Automation executive management.
• Responsible to assure that procedures/practices are followed that will assure quality workmanship by all departmental personnel.
