Job summary

FCA is seeking a Director of Advancement in the Omaha area to grow the ministry by praying, staffing, and funding the area through the Advancement Lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent and International. This role partners with the Regional Vice President, staff, and boards to implement a strategic ministry plan aligned with FCA values.

The position involves leading fundraising initiatives, donor development, and staff leadership to empower coaches, athletes, and volunteers within FCA’s Sports

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional fundraising experience at a non-profit organization of similar size and scope to FCA.
• Demonstrated success securing six and seven-figure gifts from individuals and institutions.
• Proven expertise operating with deep relational integrity to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
• Ability to galvanize a team around a clearly articulated vision and strategy.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to partner with data teams to inform donor strategy.
• Experience collaborating with communications to deploy marketing strategies for advancement.
• Excellent public presentation skills.
• A posture of humility, hope, and excellence to inspire participation in the organizational mission.

Responsibilities

• Implement a multi-channel fundraising strategy to achieve annual revenue growth goals.
• Ensure timely donor recognition and reporting.
• Build and manage a portfolio of ~150 qualified donors/prospects with $25K - $1M+ giving potential.
• Develop donor experiences and secure multi-year pledges.
• Lead the State or Major Market Donor Development Team.
• Submit revenue forecasts and activity reports.
