Equinox Gold Corp. is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing and contracting for a variety of goods and services at the Castle Mountain mine site, with responsibility to coordinate with other locations.

The role emphasizes capital equipment procurement, contract management, and supplier performance improvements. Based at Castle Mountain, 80 miles south of Henderson, NV, you will drive projects, develop category strategies, and ensure compliance with procurement policies while

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in supply chain, contracts, and purchasing, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience managing competitive bid processes (RFP/RFQ/RFI).
• Strong supplier performance analysis and cost-saving identification.
• Ability to ensure procurement policy compliance and partner with Legal, Finance, Operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies.
• Negotiate contracts from RFP/RFQ through final document and support user departments.
• Provide guidance on contract development and assists large purchases.
• Lead sourcing projects and develop KPIs for projects.
• Resolve contractor and supplier issues to prevent recurrence.
• Build relationships with end-user departments and work collaboratively across levels.
