Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Military Operations Analyst to support DoD programs from SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA.

The role focuses on security policy interpretation, threat assessment, and operational effectiveness. Candidates must have a DoW Top Secret clearance (or be able to obtain one), a relevant bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of military experience, and proven ability to manage complex projects and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, or Engineering.
• U.S. Citizen with DoW Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• 3–5 years of military experience in related fields.
• Experience leading defense, security, or operational effectiveness projects.
• Ability to interpret and implement DoW and service-level policy.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, develop, and implement security policy.
• Understand threat capabilities and analyze mission impact.
• Support assessment of system effectiveness and development of future capabilities.
• Facilitate physical security vulnerability assessment and lead planning.
• Prepare briefings and reports for senior leadership.
