Job summary

WaterBridge is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst for our Midland, TX office to support pricing, contract analysis, financial modeling, and business development. You will work closely with the Commercial Operations team and interface with finance, engineering, and operations.

The role requires presenting insights to leadership and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years in oil & gas operations, commercial, or analytical roles,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in oil & gas operations, commercial, or analytical roles.
• Experience using Enverus to export and analyze permit activity, rig counts, DUCs, remaining inventory, production profiles, and offset operator activity.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to internal and external audiences with proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple groups; strong Excel skills and financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations and engineering on produced water takeaway and supply project scopes.
• Track and analyze customer volumes, revenue, and performance of the supply business.
• Develop and execute business development initiatives, including term sheets, proposals, and presentations for prospective customers.
• Build and maintain financial and operational models to evaluate commercial opportunities across projects and contracts.
• Support contract negotiations with economic analyses, scenario runs, and pricing proposals.
• Collaborate with operations, land, finance, accounting and legal to ensure contract terms are captured and executed.
• Prepare regular reporting packages for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
