Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America is seeking a Purchasing Buyer – Metal Forming to support the Commodity Purchasing department in Northville, MI or Seymour, IN.

The role focuses on negotiating pricing, scheduling, and terms with suppliers, and facilitating cost reduction across locations. You will drive quotes analysis, support new program launches, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for metal forming components.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong written and verbal communication with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to analyze quotations, develop budgets, and understand cost impact.
• Experience in automotive industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and master purchase agreements.
• Support launch of new programs and prototype materials pricing.
• Coordinate and analyze total volume usage and supplier performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations and gain consensus from multiple plants.
