Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Planner to translate the Merchant’s vision into viable plans across Omni channels. You will develop annual, seasonal, and weekly plans using current sales and trend data, and collaborate with Merchants on inventory, markdowns, and promotions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in finance/ops/business and 4+ years in retail planning, with strong Excel skills and cross-functional communication. This role is based in Fort Myers, FL, full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, or business preferred.
• 4+ years in retail merchandise planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
• 3 years in merchandising/buying or allocation.
• Strong numerical ability and forecasting method understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develops annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly plans from sales and trend data.
• Forecasts plans and ensures orders align with financial targets.
• Partner with Merchants on pre-season plans, markdowns, and inventory.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to use regional selling curves.
• Communicates revisions and implements promotion strategies.
