Job summary

Chico’s in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a results-driven Merchandise Planner who translates the Merchants’ vision into viable plans across Omni channels. You will forecast seasonal demand, develop pre-season sales, and manage inventory flow for key items.

You will partner with Merchants to propose tactics in response to trends, analyze performance, and guide replenishment strategies to maximize sales, margin and inventory productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, or business preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, allocation or replenishment, or financial planning/analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; adept with numbers and forecasting methods.

Responsibilities

• Develops projections and inventory flow for key items/collections.
• Forecasts monthly and seasonal plans to meet financial targets.
• Analyzes performance and reacts to trend performance with tangible actions.
• Partners with Merchants to develop tactics in response to current business trends.
• Manages promotional and liquidation strategy and optimizes inventory productivity.
