Job summary

Target is seeking a Merchandise Planner for the Minneapolis office. You’ll forecast demand, lead the open-to-buy process, and create a financial link between Merchandising and Supply Chain to support sales projections.

You’ll head in-season decision support, lead category investment decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to optimize assortment and end-of-season results, with strong analytical and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 2-6 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of Merchandising experience
• Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills; can translate data into insights and recommendations
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams
• Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in grey areas that are constantly changing
