Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Experience with regulatory compliance/accreditation processes.
• Experience using a medical staff office database, preferably MDStaff.

Responsibilities

• Process physician and AP credentialing applications and reappointments from start to finish.
• Provide medical staff committee support, including creating meeting agendas and taking minutes.
• Ensure thorough verification of credentials according to policies, procedures, by-laws and accreditation standards.
• Update expirable documents and maintain the MDStaff database.
