Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies is seeking a Buyer II to lead planning, sourcing and procurement for critical commodities. You will manage ERP/MRP-based replenishment, collaborate with suppliers, and drive cost improvements while sustaining supply continuity.

The role requires SAP expertise, domestic sourcing experience and strong negotiation skills, with a focus on quality, timelines and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business/SC/ops or finance with 2+ years supply chain/supplier interaction
• Alternative: high school diploma with 6+ years in supply chain involving supplier interaction
• Domestic sourcing experience preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems essential
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 understanding preferred
• Contract preparation and negotiation experience advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to read situations and manage supplier relationships
• ISM and/or APICS certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan orders for pre-production and production parts using SAP MRP and forecasts
• Monitor supplier performance, budgets and lead times to avoid line-downs
• Develop cost models and order management processes for efficiency
• Conduct supplier capacity reviews and manage purchase orders
• Lead supplier communications, business reviews and risk mitigation
• Manage supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and nonconforming parts
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction across commodities
