Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee outsourced systems and subassemblies with contract manufacturers. You will lead end-to-end supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive cost efficiencies.

The role requires strong collaboration across Planning, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Logistics, and Finance, with focus on mitigation of supply risks and continuous improvement. Hybrid/in-office work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field; alternative HS diploma + 6 years supply-chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for contract manufacturers and manage end-to-end supply chain for outsourced systems and subassemblies.
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate supplier performance, capacity, quality, delivery and cost.
• Monitor supplier KPIs including On-Time Delivery, Lead Time, Inventory, Cost Reduction, Quality, and Forecast Accuracy.
• Escalate supply risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Communicate forecasts and production requirements to contract manufacturers and collaborate with planning teams for capacity and material availability.
• Monitor internal and contract-manufacturer inventory and manage safety-stock strategies.
• Support S&OP activities with supplier updates and capacity insights.
• Build relationships with contract manufacturers; coordinate weekly meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and monitor supplier compliance with SLAs.
• Support audits, improvement plans and analyze product costs for savings.
• Participate in negotiations; monitor purchase-price variance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Logistics, Planning, and Finance on ECOs, NPIs.
• Coordinate design changes with contract manufacturers and ensure supply during transitions.

Bracco Medical Technologies invites qualified candidates to join our supply chain team. This role focuses on managing commercial and operational relationships with contract manufacturing partners to ensure continuous supply of outsourced systems and assemblies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned contract manufacturers and manage the end‑to‑end supply chain for outsourced finished systems and subassemblies.
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate supplier performance, capacity, quality, delivery and cost.
• Monitor supplier KPIs including On‑Time Delivery, Lead Time Performance, Inventory Levels, Cost Reduction, Quality Performance, and Forecast Accuracy.
• Escalate supply risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Communicate forecasts and production requirements to contract manufacturers and collaborate with planning teams to ensure suppliers have adequate capacity and material availability.
• Monitor inventory at internal warehouses and contract‑manufacturer locations and manage safety‑stock strategies.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning activities by providing supplier updates and capacity insights.
• Build strong working relationships with contract manufacturers and key suppliers; coordinate weekly operational meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations and service‑level agreements.
• Support supplier audits, performance improvement plans and analyze product costs to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Participate in contract negotiations and amendments; monitor purchase‑price variance and investigate significant changes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Logistics, Planning, and Finance teams on Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product transfers and New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Coordinate implementation of design changes with contract manufacturers and assure uninterrupted product supply during product transitions.

Does this position have supervisory authority? No.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field; alternatively high‑school diploma plus six years of supply‑chain experience.
• At least three years of experience in a supply‑chain role with supplier interaction; at least one year in a regulated medical‑device manufacturing environment.
• Global sourcing experience and working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Self‑directed work style with minimal supervision and strong team collaboration abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders.
• Preferred: BS in Supply Chain Management, 3‑5 years of sourcing experience in a medical‑device manufacturing company, managing outsourced operations, leading supplier business reviews, supporting new‑product launches and product transfers.

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Estimated starting salary range: $89,000 – $97,000.
