Highmark Health is seeking a data-driven analytics professional to transform large medical cost datasets into actionable insights and executive-ready stories. You will leverage SAS, SQL, and BI tools to quantify program value and guide strategic decisions.

You will partner with matrix teams to develop cost analytics, track program outcomes, and highlight opportunities for savings and improved care value. Travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences or related area.
• Master's Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences or related area.
• 5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics and/or Actuarial Services in the health care payer sector.
• Strong coding background (R, R Shiny, Python, SQL).
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny.
• Strong Technical Data Skills (SAS / SQL, R, Tableau, Excel).
• Experience in the healthcare Industry, with knowledge of emerging trends and challenges.

Responsabilités

• Develop medical cost analytics to determine value of business solutions.
• Track outcomes of programs and provide strategic insights for focus areas.
• Engage with matrix partners to develop analytics and present findings to business partners.
• Provide opportunity assessments of strategic medical cost programs and coordinate savings projections.
