Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required.
• 5-7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to present to varied audiences and persuade without authority.
• Strong oral and written communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Coordinate scientific activities with cross-functional teams (commercial, regulatory, discovery).
• Represents AbbVie at external meetings and across societies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes Medical affairs support for priority indications.
• Leads Medical Affairs initiatives and budget for assigned projects.
• Plans and executes Medical Education/Advisory Boards as needed; lead conference planning.
• Generates clinical and scientific data to address evidence gaps.
• Ensures risk management plans and product safety activities are executed.
