You will optimize system-level performance, collaborating with design, prefabrication, and procurement teams to deliver complex projects. The role emphasizes spend analytics, supplier partnerships, and risk management for long-lead items, with emphasis on standardization and lifecycle performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years in mechanical systems with category management or strategic sourcing.
• Proven supplier negotiations and contract management experience.
• Experience implementing sourcing technology and analytics tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Defines holistic strategies for major MEP systems and standardizes families.
• Aligns with leadership across Self‑Perform Mechanical and National Water domains.
• Builds spend views, taxonomies, and should-cost models for major components.
• Tracks market conditions, lead times, and price trends for mechanical equipment.
• Leads risk assessments and defines mitigation for long lead items.
• Co‑leads sourcing events with Strategic Sourcing and establishes partner programs.
• Owns supplier relationship management and performance reviews.
