ICON is seeking a highly skilled Supply Base Engineer, Mechanicals to own the performance, development, and qualification of ICON's mechanical supply chain. This role is based at ICON's Austin, TX campus and reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain.

You will serve as the primary technical and commercial interface between ICON's Mechanical Engineering and Supply Chain, driving supplier qualification, resolving quality issues, supporting NPI, and continuously improving cost and delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical engineering or related supply chain roles.
• Experience with NPI, DFx, PPAP/FAI, and supplier audits.
• Strong cross-functional communication with engineering, operations, and procurement.

Responsabilités

• Own technical and commercial relationships with mechanical suppliers.
• Lead supplier qualification activities and audits.
• Collaborate on DFM, standardization, and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements via scorecards and QMS.
