Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Managing Director to lead Construction Disputes & Advisory, setting strategy for the group and directing major client engagements. You will build client relationships, expand service offerings, and guide business development efforts to grow the practice.

The role requires a deep background in construction management, project controls, and analytics, with a track record of growing project teams and delivering high-quality, profitable outcomes for complex capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with requisite consulting experience.
• 10 years minimum experience in Construction Management, Project Controls or Capital Project consulting focused on strategic facilities master planning, service line planning, and business and data analytics for large construction projects or capital projects.
• Ideal candidate will have Construction Management and Project Control experience and experience managing and growing a Project Controls team.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Strategic thinking, leadership (business acumen/empathy/mentoring), client management skills.
• Specialized Knowledge: Identifies, advances and closes on opportunities at new and existing clients; promotes new or expanded service offerings; understands core services provided by Ankura.

Responsibilities

• Lead major client engagements and set strategy for the group; manage the team and drive growth.
• Develop brand and marketing collateral; direct business development efforts to win new work.
• Mentor and develop team members; foster a culture of excellence and inclusion.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and profitability across engagements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to expand Ankura’s capabilities in facilities master planning and analytics.
