Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Senior Director for Construction Disputes & Advisory (PLDC): Architect. The role can be based near an Ankura office in the United States, with preference for the Western or Mountain time zones and specific markets listed.

The position focuses on serving as a testifying expert in disputes, with responsibilities including investigating defects, analyzing liability and coordinating depositions, mediations and trials. At least ten years in construction/engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Accredited architecture degree and architectural licence.
• At least ten years in construction/engineering with five+ in disputes/forensic consulting.
• Experience testifying in defect or standard-of-care matters.

Responsibilities

• Testimony in depositions, mediation and trial.
• Investigate design and construction defects and standards of care.
• Analyze project documents to assess liability and causation.
• Supervise document reviews and budgeting.
• Maintain clear client communications throughout engagements.
