Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the practical application of MRP, scheduling, order policies and modifiers, capacity planning, product structures, shop floor control, and product families.
• Proficient with MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collects shortage information and expedite materials to jobs as required.
• Defines and proactively adjusts inventory levels (line side inventory, internal Kanban, safety stock, finished goods).
• Recommends and implements ideas to improve product velocity, right-size inventory levels, and reduce costs.
• Manages complex bills of materials.
• Manages and executes complex engineering change orders.
• Manages obsolescence and stock depletion.
• Creates and regularly updates lines of balance.
• Reschedules job orders to meet customer schedules.
• Inputs job order status and delivery information for Customer Service.
• Maintain item master modifiers.
• Leads meetings with regards materials needs.
