Job summary

JOST International is seeking a Buyer/Planner to analyze MRP requirements, schedule raw materials, and support production to meet customer demands. You will create and maintain ERP processes, forecast raw material needs, and manage supplier-related data within SAP, reporting to the Senior Buyer/Planner.

Responsibilities include supplier management, procurement planning, and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent; 3–5 years in a production environment.
• APICS/ISM membership is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier onboarding, approvals, performance reviews, and relationships.
• Analyze MRP requirements, issue POs, and maintain purchasing documents in SAP.
• Maintain SAP material master data and ensure accurate part numbers and specs.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and monthly production forecasts.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Planning to support new launches and long lead-time items.
