The ideal candidate will have 0–3 years in procurement, familiarity with SAP and Excel, and a knack for navigating fast-paced environments while communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred: Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
• CPSM certification encouraged within first three years of employment (employer funded).
• Experience: 0-3 years in procurement, supply chain, or materials management.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities: SAP, lean manufacturing, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place Purchase Orders and manage replenishment strategies for assigned materials.
• Manage supply disruptions driven by unforeseen events and respond to changes.
• Understand supply constraints and implement contingency plans to maintain production.
• Optimize warehouse space and balance PO delivery to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Collaborate with suppliers and plant operations to ensure material availability through forecasts and lead times.
• Lead inventory cost reduction initiatives leveraging SAP and supplier capabilities.
• Minimize excess inventory by rescheduling POs and coordinating with suppliers/QA.
• Drive KPIs like inventory turns, PPVs, and on-time invoices to targets.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, R&D, QA, Operations, and Finance.
