Job summary

Philips is seeking an Operational Planner/Buyer for the Latham, NY area. The role coordinates end-to-end material planning and procurement, managing ERP data and aligning supply with production through supplier collaboration and S&OP processes.

You will oversee inventory analysis, forecasting, supplier engagement, and stock optimization within an office-based setting. The position requires teamwork and proficiency in SAP and Excel, with a focus on supply continuity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in logistics, order management, or business administration.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent.
• Skills include SAP and MS Excel with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inventory analysis and owns ERP-based inventory management, including master data setup and replenishment policies.
• Implements inventory strategies, updates procurement master data, and runs simulations for safety stock and lot-sizing.
• Manages supplier engagement across forecasting and ordering, issues purchase orders, and tracks confirmations/delivery/price.
• Performs stock counts and mitigates shortage risks across n-tier suppliers and stock visibility.
