Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a materials/inventory specialist to evaluate requests, manage stock levels, and maintain SAP material master. You will analyze usage, coordinate transfers, and publish monthly workload reports while supporting warehousing strategies and after-hours coverage.

The role requires 2-3+ years experience, knowledge of procurement, inventory analysis, and regulatory requirements. Travel up to 25% is possible; base salary range is disclosed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process material requisitions and reservations to ensure proper classification and timely processing.
• Maintain the SAP material master and related inventory tracking systems.
• Review monthly reports (obsolete, deplete/delete, variance) and prompt action.
• Publish workload analysis and optimize stocking levels across locations.
• Identify transfer opportunities and develop supplier/service networks to ensure supply.
• Support warehousing strategies and inventory control improvements.
• Work on special projects to meet departmental objectives.
• Provide emergent 24/7 after-hours, weekend and holiday support.
