Job summary

Supply Technologies is hiring a Buyer Planner to optimize inventory levels across multiple distribution centers and manage purchasing to support continuous flow and on-time delivery to customers.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in business or supply chain and at least three years of planning/procurement experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Three years' professional experience in materials planning or procurement.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in distribution environment is a plus.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory level across multiple distribution centers and achieve on-time delivery goals.
• Issue purchase orders and work orders to support distribution plans and customer requirements; coordinate with suppliers for delivery/availability information.
• Review site-level demand forecasts by SKU and work with forecast analyst to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Maintain accurate system data such as BOMs, purchase costs, lead times, etc.
• Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and coordinate disposition of non-conforming material.
